Red Son Superman is an alternate reality version of Superman from DC Comics, where his rocket landed in the Soviet Union instead of Kansas. He was first introduced in *Superman: Red Son* #1 in 2003.
Raised as a Soviet, he becomes a symbol of communism and a powerful leader within the USSR. Unlike the traditional Superman, this version is more willing to use his powers to enforce order and support the communist ideology.
